SlashQuit Group Stages Over
21.07.2006 16:17 by Demanufacturer
|
Last night we finished our last Group Stage match in SlashQuit, vs Potentia. We've managed to come through the group stages without dropping a round, despite some great play by those in our group.
Unfortunately so far SlashQuit has been riddled with server issues, and we wish them the best of luck getting these sorted out ASAP. We've managed to get through our last matches by playing on our own server, which FrieR has graciously refereed for us.
Moving on to the double elimination brackets, we'll be set to face the high seeded teams in the Euro format - something we're looking forward to. Hopefully there will be ETTV coverage for these games and if so, we'll keep you updated. |

Enemy Territory at Quakecon 2006!
15.07.2006 18:29 by Demanufacturer
|

A couple of days ago, it was announced Enemy Territory is going to feature at Quakecon 2006. But not as we know it! - in a 5v5 format. Unfortunately, the tournament was announced with 21 days notice, having on-site registration, making it too risky a prospect for most teams from outside of America to attend.
Many have been asking if we will attend the event, and unfortunately due to the notice provided and funding issues, we will not be attending Quakecon this year.
Regardless, it is fantastic news for competitive Enemy Territory - having another LAN event with a $30,000 USD prize pool. Prize distribution will be as follows:
• 1st Place $15,000
• 2nd Place $10,000
• 3rd Place $5,000
A detailed Qcon ET article has been posted over at the GGL site, featuring interviews with both American and European players. You can find the preview here. |
