MO Fall to Redux, on to Braundorf...

On Tuesday the team suffered its first defeat in a long time at the hands of  Team Redux in Round 1 of the GameArena Finals. Some fantastic play on supplydepot saw Redux come away with a 3-1 win.

This leaves us with arguably one of the hardest roads to the final, against Potentia and then Adversus. We will be facing off against Potentia next week on Braundorf at a date/time to be announced, stay tuned as we'll post all the relevant ETTV / Shoutcast info. |

This coming Tuesday MO will be facing off against Team Redux in Round one of the Gamearena finals.
supplydepot is the map, 7:30pm AEST is the time. Be there, for what is shaping up to be a cracker of a match.

MO take the GA Season 7 Minor Premiership

On Monday the team faced off against Adversus in an epic 2 and a half hour match on Radar.
Beginning with a drawn round, according to the rules the only victory would come in the form of a 3-1 win to either team. The rules state that the winner is the team which has won the most rounds across a "maximum of 5 rounds" - not simply "first to 3." As fate would have it, the game ended up going to 2-2, and with the 1 drawn round, this meant 5 rounds had been played. The game was declared a draw by the gameops, however there was the option to play on, but only if both teams agreed.
With nothing to lose and everything to gain, Adversus were keen to play on. It was left up to MO whether to continue.. and with the minor premiership on the line, the safe bet was to take the draw. However nobody in the team wanted to go to sleep that night not knowing who would have won the last round, and we wanted to remove all doubt. MO decided to play on, taking the game 3-2.

Watch MO play off for the #1 seed for GA Finals!

This coming Monday MO will again be facing off against Adversus for the #1 rung on the GameArena Ladder. The game will be broadcast on ETTV.
Two of the form teams of the competition heading into the finals face off on the murky slopes or radar! It should be an exciting game to watch. Radar being the map it is, never fails to put up a great game to watch, so make sure you tune in!
