GGL Pre-Season: mo* vs |D|
05.06.2004 14:30 by Demanufacturer

Today we had our second outing in the GGL vs :us: Deliverance on Battery.

|D| refused to split servers (switching to an aus. server for the second round) insisting the match be played only on NA servers.

The match started without any fuss on their server which was pre-loaded with the GGL config.

Our average ping sat between 260-330, theirs between 55-65.

mo* took the first round, however |D| made a comeback taking the game 2-1. ggs |D|, gl with the reast of pre-season.

Modus Operandi Infiltrates the GGL!
28.05.2004 00:15 by warmachine

In his continued quest to conquer the world, Demanufacturer has taken the battle to the Americans by signing Modus Operandi up with the upcoming Global Gaming League competition.

Facing pings upwards of 150, we expect it to be more challenging than confiscating Ophidian's season 1 boxed set of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

But I digress.

In all seriousness, we expect the competition to be fierce as we enter the international gaming ring. A challenge has been issued to American team :us: Friction during Pre-Season to be played during this weekend.

In other news, a very belated salute to newcomers (sort of) :au: shaggy and :au: rinaldo! We won't go into how we "acquired" them for highly charged political reasons but they are welcome additions to the mo* ranks.

:au: Modus Operandi successfully fended off another challange for their number one spot on the telstra gamearena ladder tonight. The game was played against :au: BlackJack on the map siwa oasis.

21 played well and they should remain high on the ladder for the rest of the season if there is any justice in this world, and being in a good mood, i'm inclined to think there is.

times:
round 1 - attack, mo set 8:06 with 21 unable to beat.
round 2 - defending mo held 21 for the full 15 minutes, mo beat this time with 13:17

mo* v YoY^
23.05.2004 13:56 by ophidian

Friday 21st May 2004

:au: Modus Operandi successfully defended their number one position on the gamearena ladder against a newly rebadged :au: YoY in a grueling 180 minute marathon of a match.

After two drawn rounds mo finally broke through a strong YoY bank defence and capped the gold in 13ish minutes.
With victory now in sight mo consolidated and held YoY for the defensive round at the tank taking the game 1 - 0 - 2.

Then we went to bed.

Good games YoY. Good luck with the remainder of the season.
